About a month ago my other half and I went to legoland. When she first told me she had tickets I was a little apprehensive. Wasn't legoland for kids? and I have a horrible fear of any kind of roller-coaster.
I remember the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride in Disney when I was about 8, I freaked out in the line waiting to go on, screamed cried and had to be shocked into stopping me from getting hysterical. So when my other half suggested a trip to a theme park, the dread and terror came back and I reluctantly agreed.

We headed first for geek out central and spent half an hour in the star wars exhibition and walking round taking way to many photos of all the different places. Discussing how accurate the scenes were and how the Ewok's looked mega cute in their tree top houses. Followed by a look around the model village, snapping ourselves standing in front of the Eiffel tower and NASA space station along the way. Then posed for photos outside London monuments, for a girl that works in London and often says how bored I get of it, as soon as it was in lego I became top tourist!
It was an amazing day, a great surprise to get tickets and after all it wasn't just for the little kids. And the little Ewok on my keys really does make me smile every time I see it!
